OUR PEOPLE

The founder of Adventerra Games is Dr. Bryan Mundell (PhD, Cornell U.), an expert on simulation games for more than 30 years, and founder of the Cornell Simulators Association in 1975. Dr. Mundell has ten years of experience in designing and using simulations in the management classroom while teaching Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management in the Masters Division of Bocconi University and other European and American universities.

Our investing partners include: Dr. Miljenko Mervic, (PhD, Weizmann Institute of Science), a chemist and expert on games for more than 25 years; Barry Weinbrom, award-winning teacher for 35 years in the New York City schools and author of many environmentally focused books, exercises, and cases for use in primary and secondary schools and in after-school programs; Prof. Giuseppe Delmestri (PhD, Mannheim U.), a university educator whose research has recently been focused on the evolution of the creative industries, including film and cartoons; Joe Sepe, an unusually creative printer who knows games well after winning dozens of game tournaments over the last 25 years; Dr. Barbara Poggiali (PhD, M.I.T.), a corporate "intrapreneur" with experience in the top management team of several prominent startups sponsored by large Italian corporations; Bora Ersemiz, a mechanical engineer specialized in the design and development of consumer products; Barbara Delmestri, an architect specialized in the design and construction of buildings with a low environmental "footprint"; David Kuller, one of Italy's first internet entrepreneurs; and Anna Mundell, a professional fund-raising consultant.

Other key members of our team include Laura Alessandri, our Business Manager, who completed the first phase of her career in the consulting world after writing a thesis on Green Management at Bocconi University; Carol Schultheiss, our technical production coordinator, with a degree in Art Education from Syracuse University and 30 years of experience in the design, printing and publishing fields; Jim Kline, a strategy and marketing consultant with a Masters Degree in International Economic Management from Bocconi University; and Bob Kaiser (BSME in mechanical engineering), our webmaster with more than twenty years of experience in both computers and environmental design, with the past eight years geared towards website development.  Adventerra Games also moves forward due to the inspiration, energy and commitment from many volunteers in many nations, including but not limited to Austria, Canada, France, India, Italy, Switzerland, and the USA.

This diversity of backgrounds enables us to achieve the shared mission that we are passionate about - educating large numbers of people about how our behavior must change if we are to slow the rate of (and eventually reverse) the damage to our planet caused by irresponsible choices at international, national, regional, local, family, and yes, individual level.
