PROJECT SPONSORS
The Milan solid waste utility company (AMSA) sponsored the development and local distribution of 5,500 copies of two versions of Spazza via la Spazzatura, (now being translated into Grab the Garbage and Go).
The Italcementi Foundation sponsored the distribution of more than 600 copies of Acquagame to schools in Bergamo and Milan.
The Naucrates Foundation has purchased Watergames for its environmental education activities in Thailand.
Riccardo Falco and his colleagues at the Lombardy Environmental Foundation have provided invaluable technical assistance, including translation and adaptation of the Watergame Teachers Manual and the accompanying didactic materials. We thank their President Giovanni Bottari and Education Director G. Matteo Crovetto for a generous grant to cover half the cost of producing the first 500 Acquagames.
We have an active alliance with Greengames.org, a North American not-for-profit organization with a mission of producing and distributing environmental games. Grants to Greengames.org from anonymous sources have made possible the development, playtesting, and prototype distribution of two games.
